Privacy & analytics

This site collects first-party usage analytics in its own database: pages visited, link and button clicks and positions, scroll depth, visible time, loading and interaction performance, referrers, campaign tags, IP addresses, and browser and device details. Activity on published artifacts is linked to the artifact and its version.

A random browser identifier connects repeat visits. A tab identifier groups activity within a visit. If you are signed in when events are received, they can be linked to your account. Anonymous identifiers and IP addresses do not verify a person’s identity or physical location.

Browser details can include language, timezone, screen size, operating-system information, available CPU and memory estimates, connection estimates, and display preferences, where your browser exposes them.

When IP enrichment is enabled, the server sends artifact visitors’ IP addresses to ipapi.is to estimate country, region, city, network organization, and VPN, proxy, Tor, datacenter, or crawler signals. Estimates can be wrong and do not establish identity or employment. Enrichment is cached for seven days and stale cache entries are removed by the background worker; event history is retained separately.

The collector excludes form values, passwords, message contents, page text, URL fragments, and query parameters other than source, medium, and campaign tags. Sensitive invite, upload, and access-token paths are redacted.

Only site owners can read this analytics history. It is retained in the site database until an owner removes it; no automatic expiration is configured. Turning off analytics stops future collection from this browser and removes its local analytics identifiers. It does not delete previously collected events.

The collector also stays off when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Existing operational logs and share view/download metrics are separate from this setting.
